Proposed Projects

The proposed bond projects focus on:

  1. Adding student capacity
  2. Improving functionality of existing instructional facilities
  3. Extending the life of existing instructional facilities

District Growth

  • Mabank ISD’s average growth over the past three years is approximately 185 students (or 5%) per year.
  • The district has grown by 559 students over the last three years (more than the functional capacity of an entire Lakeview or Southside Elementary campus).
  • Mabank ISD’s current facilities have functional capacity to accommodate 4,108 students. The district’s current enrollment of 4,048 students is at 99% of all the district’s facilities.
  • The proposed bond projects would add 1,225+ student capacity to the district.
